Automatic Headlight Switch - Euro Switch for '13 TDI

Hi guys! I just picked up my first TDI & so far am loving it, but I was suprised when I noticed it didn't have some of the features I would have liked it to have. First thing was the auto-lights which have a sensor for them to turn on & off when it is dark or light out. I have seen some other parts out there, but is the TDI's switch different from the GLI? I have a 2013 Jetta TDI Premium.
Does anyone know which euro switch I need & also if there is a part that contains the sensor eye for the auto-lights? I know the new euro switches have the auto spot on them, but I assume them are only for the cars that actually have auto now.

Do some searches on the forum for the euro switch on the MkVI. It has been discussed multiple times.

Then pull out your switch and take a look at it.

If you search my username I posted pictures of what my switch plug looked like compared to the GLI.

As for auto lights - I believe it isn't a very easy or even possible mod. I could be wrong but again I think search will be your friend.

I know someone did a retrofit either on here or Vortex. I can't seem to find it though. This one doesn't have the Auto feature but the MKVI euroswitch has a different connection than the MKV. Don't know if you are still looking, but I found a solution for this. Thought I would share in case anyone else comes across this looking for answer to the lights staying on when shutting the car off. It cost me about $95 and had to wait for it to ship from overseas but it was worth it. It comes with the switch and the auto light mechanism. The auto setting definitely kills all lights when the ignition is on. I mounted the light sensor in the bottom corner of the windshield. They do kick on and off, but can't vouch for their sensitivity yet. I know at a minimum you could cover the sensor and get always on with ignition and always off when car is off. But, I believe the auto is going to work likes it's supposed to. I can also only vouch for an MK6 Jetta Sedan.

I could've smelled Jetta TDI "Premium" a mile away upon first reading your post. Yeah...been there/done that with the "Premium surprise" The best advice I can give anyone looking at Premium package VW is do your homework and take the time to compare standard equipment.

Not sure if verebs is the same thing or not. He wanted $125 and couldn't tell me for sure if it would work. This was a very easy install, no vcds required.

They only sell the switch for the V, not VI, unless I can't find it.
