Hey All,

But of an odd one (in my books) started happening with my 2002 Audi A4 B6 1.9 TDI AWX. 50% of the time when I start her up the accelerator is non responsive for about 10 seconds or so.. You can notice a slight difference in the sounds of the engine before and after you are able to get it to rev. Timing angle is spot on 0.0. Injector timing etc. is fine as are the seals. No errors coming up via OBD bar an intermittent fault with the engine mount sensor which has been present for quite a while now..

Crank and cam sensors have been checked.

It's also has a decat and EGR delete.

Glow Plugs? MAF?

I've replaced all 4 glow plugs and the issue is exactly the same.

It still feels like it's misfiring at the start but as it's heating up resolved itself and allows you to apply throttle/revs..

I am now at a total loss..

Throttle position sensor could be acting up.
Maybe the anti-shudder flap is sticky?
Maybe check the grounds in the cabin.

Heya,

Thanks for replying. I checked the throttle response on VCDS and from that I can see it's fine. The EGR has been removed so there is no anti-shudder and it doesn't seem to be a grounding issue (I hope).

I will check the sensors on the engine again, both the cam and crank. It's odd because when the weather is warm it's fine. No issue at all.. So it's temperature related.
