My business brings me "within the trade". There is NO talk of pump failures any more. Ten or more years back it was a big issue, but now? the trade worries more about DPFs.
Good to know. I have been using an additive, and very few pump failures have been reported using one. It may not be a guarantee, but a little insurance.

I just turned 80k miles on my JSW. Still using XPD religiously, although I might be switching to XL since I'm now in TX and might not need all the additional cetane improvement.

Any HPFP failures to report while using OptiLube? HPFP failures continue, at a slower (?) rate, but it appears every one that has posted here says "no additives used."

Thought I'd bump this to the top. Any more HPFP failures from members running Optilube XPD?

Since there's an informative, very civil thread going re: BG additive, thought I'd bump this to the top again.
I'm at 97k miles, no fuel related issues, MPG and performance still consistent.
