Are all MK4 steering wheels interchangeable?

I saw a used, good shape, 2000 Beetle steering wheel for sale, and I was wondering if it will fit onto my 2004 Jetta without the need to modify anything. Can anyone help?

Hmm...never thought of doing that before. Cheap 3 spoke upgrade.

If somebody does it, post pics as I want to see how it looks in a Jetta or Golf.

I am gonna try to buy it. It is painted, which is my biggest pull. Possibility of making it a little more sporty looking.

It still will physically fit however, you just won't have hookups for the fancy buttons on it

Well, I lost the bid... Oh well. Are you saying that the wheels are NOT interchangeable? My cruise is on the signal arm.

If your car doesn't have buttons on the steering wheel I'd say they're the same. If it does you'll have trouble.
