last remaining tanks:

1st (already on spreadsheet) is: 674.3 / 13.95 = 48.34

2nd is: 627.9 / 13.41 = 46.82

3rd is: 765.2 / 15.71 = 48.71

Month Totals are: 2067.4 / 43.07 = 48.00 mpgs :D

Well I guess watercop ain't coming.

So it was hard to determine results. For the overall win I had to go to gdr since he had more than just one tank. For the rest of the classifications I used everybody, one tank or more.

Results!:

Overall Winner: Fix_Until_Broke
Best New Beetle: Ernie Rogers
Best Jetta: daBooj
Best Golf: tiesel
Best Jetta Wagon: Brock_from_WI
Best B4 Passat: Audi5000TDI
Best B5 Passat: rigormortis
Best MKV: Lightflyer1
Best Veggie Runner: None?
Best Automatic Transmission: fredb
Best DSG Transmission: overbite
Best Biodiesel Runner (>20%): tiesel
Best Pumpe-Düse: daBooj

oops - sorry!

I worked a long miserable weekend in Arkansas and didn't get to figuring my April results until 2 May, and I saw that the scoresheet had been updated late on 30 April so figured I missed out.

I'll combine 'em with May if that suits.

They weren't too spectaclar, anyway - mpg is down a bit and 600+ miles at 75 mph getting to AR didn't help, either.

3138 miles, 54.581 gallons, 57.48 mpg.

Sorry I missed the cutoff - didn't want my lateness to be inconvenient.

See ya'll next month

well... I made a mistake anyhow, gdr703 didn't have any more than one tank either.. :) So I'll have to change the final results anyways. All this, just because daBooj had to go and wreck his car. What's your number watercop and I'll go ahead and add them to April, I need to do an update to the spreadsheet anyhow...

Jetta GLS, 2004, could only find silver
:mad: I didn't mean to go and get my car wrecked! I was just sittin' there all inocent like and some jeep had to come and plow into my backside. Quite rude of him!

I guess I can overlook the mistakes here, jnecr... I guess.

(thanks again for all the hard work! I should get my car back tomorrow (I hope). Then I'll do my best to put a few tanks together for the month.)

:p

Not bad.

I have the taller tires I've been talking forever about on order, probably on my car this week some time this week.

New tires are: Michelin Energy MXV4 S8, 205-60-16, filled with nitrogen.

OK, I just made the edit, sorry it took so long.

Fix_until_Broke got the overall win because he was the highest with more than one tank... The class winners include everybody.

So how does this work? Overall winner is the highest MPG with multiple tanks (>30 gallons?), individual classes are on anything submitted?

Not criticizing or anything, just suprised that I ended up overall winner with significantly lower MPG than the three ahead of me.

Cool

PS: Thanks jencr for doing this every month - we appreciate it!

yeah, that's basically what I did, I mean... it if I wasn't going to give it to daBooj, then I couldn't very easily give it to either of the other two, so you won by default! :) :)
