So a few years ago we did the colt bew cam in my wife's brm 5 speed.

The loss of power wasn't a big deal for her at the time but now it's my car and its time to tune it and see what it can do!

Does anyone have any experience?

I have a Colt BEW in my BRM. I had it tuned by Malone with his 1.5-2.0 tune. It was great. Highly recommend it. Car was very reliable and a lot of fun to drive. My wife LOVED it.

BRM tune

Trusted mechanic Matt changed my cam a short time ago I believe to a BEW. Change resulted in slightly better fuel mileage and no loss of power I could feel. LF

The cam won't affect much. Get yourself a Stage 1.5 tune and have fun! If you do Stage 2 make sure the Malone dealer logs to check for boost creep, or get a VCDS cable if you tune yourself with a Flashzilla.
