Congrats to everyone who's gotten an offer, sprocket I thought you said you'd be last though haha. Anyway I've tried calling but I just get the whole automated steps and that's it. No people.

I can't tell you how I got mine moved ahead of you, without fear of repercussion! ;)

Honestly, I was hoping it would delay just a touch, as I'm waiting for my allroad to be prepped/CPO'd. It's close, on deck for next week, so at this point I think I'm pretty safe. I don't think my Golf turn in will be until January. I should be rolling around in 4 rings by then!

Stay strong, it'll just pop up in your email one day, and you'll hardly believe it. I thought I was hallucinating.

At the risk of being Negative Nancy, you still got a long way to go. I uploaded my notarized stuff a month ago. They'll could take a month to review your docs. Hopefully you didn't forget to cross a t or dot an i and you schedule your buyback date. But you're probably a couple months out from completing buyback. Hope I'm wrong but that's what I've seen.

My offer arrived yesterday (Sunday) morning!

documents marked complete: 11/07
offer later received: 12/11
offer document dated: 12/09
notarized and signed offer uploaded: 12/12

This is with private financing. The end is near!!!

When they first started, uploading the notarized things would be returned sometimes the same day and often a day or two later. Then it got really slow. Mine was uploaded on 11/18 and approved on 12/1 (my first one).

Recently I've seen some people reporting back just one to a few days to get notarized offers approved. Let's hope they are back to being faster and getting caught up. My second JSW I uploaded the notarized offer on Saturday 12/10.

So I got the invite for my second appointment this morning, 12/14. I uploaded the notarized offer (which did take a calendar month to arrive after docs were approved) on Saturday 12/10. My previous offer took 2 weeks for them to send the appointment schedule invitation so they are getting faster, at least on that part.

As of today, all the dealerships are starting around Jan 9-11 for their first appointments.

Does anyone have an RNS 510 Nav unit in their car? I have a 2010 version that I can't seem to update. Was wondering if someone would swap me units if they are turning theirs in.
This is for a car I am keeping.

It's OK Nancy, we've all learned to lower expectations with this whole process. That being said...

I have now scheduled my appointment! I don't miss ANYTHING when it comes to details, haha. Here is my updated timeline:

documents marked complete: 11/07
offer later received: 12/11
offer document dated: 12/09
notarized and signed offer uploaded: 12/12
schedule your appointment email received: 12/14
appointment scheduled: 12/15
appointment date: 01/12 (first date available, last appointment of day)

I've yet to update the shared spreadsheet. It is unavailable every time I try to access it.

I was expecting about a month between being able to schedule, and the first available date. It was pretty close! Now I just need to make sure my new car is in hand during the next couple weeks!

Since then? Ziltch, zero, nada.
Emailed Class council: 12/11/16
Replied: It will be coming "soon" they say.

I'm overdue as well. Hoping to get the new car this weekend, park the
Golf. That sucks you had to bite the bullet! I've been dreading that. Did have a flat tire about a week ago...

I just figure with how this has been going its gonna be a good while. Idk I'm almost hoping it takes a while now. I'm taking a Cali trip in March and I'm going to try and move to Colorado so my polluting diesel sipper would be nice to have. Nope not me. Mine is black with everything that was silver blacked out

Please let us know how it goes! Strongs?
I took it to SouthTowne.

There were two main reasons. One, it is a bit closer to where I live, and it turns out I needed to go to Orem directly after, and

Two, I dislike SouthTowne and like Strong a lot more, and since we have already bought a replacement Audi, so have to tell them we don't need a new car, and I know one of the salesmen at Strong a little, and one of the sales managers a little, and did not want to have to tell them that, I decided on SouthTowne, where I have no problem at all telling them that.

(Audi bought in AZ as both Strong and Audi Lehi did not return my email when I got serious about it and emailed 11 dealers in 5 states)

The buyback itself was pretty painless. I was about 6 minutes late (hit almost every light on red) and the wife showed up another 5-8 minutes later. They were scheduling one per hour so the buyback specialist was not stressed at all about that. Had us fill out some forms (He had prefilled but the title and registration have just my middle name and last name and his docs had my first name and last name or all three names so I had to re-do the odometer and POA with just my middle and last to match the title) while he went out to take pictures and make sure it is operable. He came back in, typed in some stuff, verified the total, which matched, and took a pic of our licenses and the docs, and wished us well. I had the email receipt before we left. He gave me a VW business card with his name, and also the Chase phone number in case there is an issue with the Chase EFT.

JSW #2 is scheduled for Jan 14 at the same place.

Sounds like it went well! Congrats!

Understood on the reason to go with Southtowne. I decided to go Strongs, cause it's closest to me, and I'm getting my Audi through them. Otherwise, I'd probably do the same, and take it elsewhere!

I tried to get my Audi through Strong but they never got back to me :(

Good luck! I like Strong a lot better.

30+ business days and still waiting. Thought for sure where I paid to get my oil changed I'd have it now. I just want an offer already.

Second JSW was returned on Saturday Jan 14 at SouthTowne.

Buyback specialist remembered me from the first after a small prompt when I said "good to see you again." He then remembered details from the first small talk and followed up.

He was prepared, there was no issues, and we were in and out.

The SouthTowne Ambassador was very polite and helpful. We had parked the JSW next to our new Volvo V60 and he helped get the plate of the JSW. Never asked once about if we needed a new car. He did say he had had two Volvos in his lifetime and liked both.

The new VW Alltrack was on the lot and looked like a nice car. They did not have one in the showroom though so I did not sit in one or take a closer look.
