Anyone running coilovers as their DD and track car

As luck would have it, the rear spring snapped just before our summer road trip. Had to quickly source a used spring from a MK6 2.5 to hold us over. Dealers got Mk7 tdi springs backordered until eternity.

Nows the time to upgrade suspension. I did a whole bunch of reading on this forum about lowering springs. Seems the consensus is get Bilstein B8s as well if you just do springs. I guess my question is: why not just get coilovers? Im trackin the car a few times a summer. Anyone got coilovers they recommend that haven't ruined their ride quality when using the car in the city? I saw KW has a "street comfort coilover" kit that they say still is suitable for city use.

So I’m running with BC Racing Coilovers, Neuspeed 18" RSe10 wheels wrapped in BFG G-Force Comp 2 tires as my DD.

I don’t track my car at all but the ride is fantastic and made the GSW handle super well. The rims are much lighter than stock and with those tires she sticks around heavy turns super well. Would highly recommend coils on this platform.

Which line of BC racing coilovers? Checked out their site and they have 6 lines it looks like

I'll look for my stock springs, they had maybe 15k on them when removed. If I can find them you can have them for whatever it costs to ship. Might not be worth it with shipping to Ottawa, which is the rub. I can just ship you just one as well.
