Anyone running 14" wheels on a MkIV? Will they fit?

Found a really interesting set of 14x6 +38mm wheels. I am emailing them to see what one weighs. I have been contemplating going to a light BBS or equivalent 15 or 16, but these 14s are intriguing...

Anyone know if they will clear the brakes, etc?

they'll fit on the back, but they will hit the front brakes.. the 15" wheels barely clear the brakes..

14" wheels were sold on Mk4s in Europe with smaller front brakes. However, there are obvious downsides (and upsides, too) to running smaller brakes.

yeah I can manage to overwhelm the stock mk4 brakes, so I don't think I would chance going smaller.. my next upgrade is the TT brakes, front and rear, but I have to wait until I wear out all of my 15" tires before doing the front brakes, so for now, it's VR6 fronts.. my 15's will fit on the rear of the TT we have on the lot here, not even close to fitting on the front..
