Anyone know VLT of bare windows? Aiming for net 35% tint.

Live where legal is 35% VLT (with 32% considered OK for margin of error)

Anyone else need to hit close to 35? What VLT tint did you use?

Have a cpl different tints to choose and if one will get me to 39% and the other 33.7% I'd rather go darker.

Installer I'm talking to installs Suntek CXP (Carbon XP)

Pinnacle One is too far away.

Other local option is Johnson InsulatIR but seems people like their higher end dye but like CXP better for carbon. 3M about an hour drive. Localest is Llumar but shop isn't well known.

CXP 45 is 40% VLT

He says that will do it.

A good tint shop should have a VLT meter. Of course, you are buying from a good tint shop, correct?
