Anyone have this for the 2012-2014 EA 189 Diesel?

Saw this in another thread but it is for the new EA288 engine. I am sure there are common components to the earlier EA189 but am sure there are differences also. Anyone have this document for the EA189. It is a very good overview.

Thanks

Nice find! I assume the CKRA is part of the EA189 engine family? Would be nice to find a similar document for it.

Fantastic read. The new engine has some incredible systems for warm up, cooling and emissions...wow.

I found the regeneration info especially interesting as it shows loading triggers for regeneration and talks about temps for passive regeneration needs.

I also saw that even if it is in constant passive mode(always hot enough to burn soot) it will still trigger an active regen at 465 miles. Our CKRA must be similar, because I run 90 hwy/10 city and I see regens around the 450 mark most of the time.

Yes it was interesting. Would be great to see the same document for the engine in our cars to do a side by side comparison. Curious to see if the warmup, cooling etc systems are similar. The curve indicating soot load is interesting also. The PDF shows loading between 18-30 grams for active regeneration. Assuming my polar is giving accurate data my soot load is in the 5 grams range never higher. Kinda wondering if the CKRA engine is programmed to a much lower soot load regeneration? or my polar readout is not accurate or I am just lucky and have an engine that likes to do this for fun? I would think with my highway driving I would go longer than 200 miles.

Sorry I'm replying over a decade later but, I believe I have the closest to what you're looking for.
