Hi there,

I have a cracked EGR top tube and need to replace it. Everything else on my EGR system looks good so I'd love to simply replace the tube. I don't mind if your used tube has clogging, I can clean it. My EGR bracket wasn't attached, which is probably why my tube cracked in the first place - now I've got the bracket attached.

I see that idparts.com has the tubes, but at $230 I figure a used one will do just fine.

Thank you!

The EGR flex-pipe tube thing is leaking exhaust on my BEW TDI, also. I have a new replacement to install, but I'm not finding any good instructional videos or thread on this subject. Does anybody have any links on how-to replace the BEW EGR flex-pipe tube?

There really isn't much dyi material for it. Loosen the bolts that hold the cooler to the intake, r&r the bad pipe, torque, then torque cooler. You have to loosen the cooler so it doesn't strain any of the flex joints or you'll be right back where you started.
