I believe there is a drain in the assembly that is plugged and I am going to go looking. Just thought I would ask if anyone had explored this territory previously. Jim
A plastic turkey baster inserted into each drain tube works pretty well. You sometimes end up with some crud up around the roof but if you dont inject a lot of water up there it should drain out. I've had good luck with this method.
OR if you have a handy mighty-vac you can use it to pull the clog out.
good luck....summer is a much better time to be doing sunroof maint..at least in Iowa.
Man! My right front sunroof drain is plugged big time about three feet down and my carpet gets flooded behind the driver seat. On the front right drain, my probe comes up with dirt on it and it is hard as a brick. Any ideas on this? Also, where does the drain emerge under the car? Anyone know? Can you see it with a long enough probe shoved through it? And...how hard is it to get to the rear drain openings on the roof? Do you have to remove the sunroof? Jim
