How does this work for everyone?I have spoken with Mark, due to so many tunes in one day, we can't do any gas cars that day(they are very time consuming for him). Oh me too .. need the Golf Eco Tuned with warm start issue fix(This is standard I think isn't it for older cars?) and Dynamic EGR .. heard about the warm start issue every day from the wife when it was cold out ..

Thinking about getting the 01 Tuned to Malone as well , vs the Kerma Tune that's in it now .. PO did more work to it after it was Kerma Tuned . and wasn't re tuned.

EMT Tuning in Guelph is still doing 50 dollars off i believe. so a 350 dollar custom tune would only be 300

i wonder if a group buy would result in less than 300 bucks

Only the 99.5's had hot start issues. What are you experiencing?

It's a 2000 golf .

Cold start has been fine , glow plugs warm and delay seems right and it starts no problem .
Drive to work for an hour .. park ... go out at lunch time and quick flash on the glow plugs and roll and rolll and rolll and roll then it fires .. and smokes like a mofo because of the un burnt fuel .
Seemed to match the explanations of the issue that ws fixed via tune or update at the dealership.

Other thoughts?

it seems like my k-line is dead since there is no response to a vagcom tool
but obdII port works with a scanner

In this case, what does it take to fix it and make it able to take a log and tune?

Do yourself a favour and install a set of nozzles before you do a tune.

Had the TB done while we where gone to Florida for two weeks in March . Timing was set at the time of course , It hasn't been that cold and I haven't driven it much .. hopefully issue resolved then.

I have already looked at that site but I got really confused.
I have the stock double DIN radio on there.
Then that should not have the k-line problem?

striker- check all your fuses on the drivers side dash panel.

For a group buy, minimum 10 cars $50 off, 15 cars $75 off. No custom tunes that day as it would be a VERY busy day as it is. Basic logging and fine tuning for lightly modded PD cars included.

i was going to go for a custom tune, or a stage 4 tune..whichever ones applies to me.
