Really, I didn't miss it! But still, any more? It seems BEW is not popular there since there're less discussions about it and also less cam/mileage reports :rolleyes:

BTW, oilhammer, did your service on those high mileage customer cars (mentioned in your first post here) include cam bearings replacement/swap anytime?

Oliver has done 10 cam changes and he changes lifters and bearings also. I know his was @ 110K (BRM)and Frank (lilredtdi) (BEW) was around 124k miles

No, that wasn't the point I was asking. When doing CAM R&R lifters and bearings is a must. But I wonder if oilhammer has done only bearings on at least one of those high mileage cars during the car's life..

There are just too many to list....
I have done very few replacements of anything on any PD engine. I used to remove valve covers all the time for checking, but was not finding anything worth squat, so I simply quit doing it.
