I contacted a Garrett agent about my previous question and was told that I can't get the actuator separately and if I managed to find a horrible cheap Chinese made actuator somewhere (Garrett is made in China) that it would be nearly impossible to dial it in without using a flowbench which nobody has got.
This sounds all very dramatic to me and I'm sure I'd be able to get it close enough considering the the value of the car, a 2005 R5.
Has anyone done this job and can comment or advise?
