Ambient Air Temperature Sensor-G17 location

VCDS scan came with fault code under engine " Ambient Air Temperature Sensor - G17" . does anyone know location of G17 sensor?

There is a temp sensor behind the bumper/lower grill mounted to the radiator support

it was easy, replaced Ambient Air Temperature Sensor-G17 (AAT) after removing rad lower grille, but first had to remove (2) side covers for fog lamps in order to remove middle lower grille.

DTC was found as intermittent under Engine module, what i don't understand, what AAT has to do with engine module, isn't it part of HVAC module? by the way its not even listed in Erwin for 2015 passat TDI.
