I was in Brazil last september, I was amazed seeing the new Amarok V6 TDI. It is now on sale in Argentina. I did see on V6 in Rio.
See article below. If you do not read Portuguese you can click on the picture galery .What an awesome truck. Too bad we do not have it here in the US.

I'm sure we'll never get it here, but I'd be in the waiting line for one if they came available. Might even trade my UTE.... Naah.

I saw one in San Antonio about a month ago. I was told by someone from Mexico City that you can buy them there.

It's like seeing a perfect surf and turf dinner steaming on the table, on mars.
When I realized that Amarok was forever unobtainium for OUR part of North America, I gave up and moved onto a massive domestic diesel pickup (2007 6.7L Cummins I6 in a 2500 Dodge Ram. It is a tank, and I could literally move a house with it. It's a guzzler at 16-17mpg, but Oh well, it does the job when I need it. I could easily do with an I4 TDI Amarok. It would haul anything I need to haul.

While I still like the looks of this truck, I've realized that without the 6 foot bed it won't do everything I need it to. I can't haul the bikes without taking off the front tires, and I can't safely haul the kayaks without adding some sort of support.

There are just too many to list....
Nah, the forbidden Volkswagen truck I want is the Transporter. Bigger beds, better engines, more room inside, and you can get AWD too.

Tell Donald Trump you want one. We can't have them in Canada unless the USA also allows them.

(I would, but I'm Canadian so he'd just tell me to go suck on some maple syrup)
