So I recently changed out the screw plug o ring on the injection pump. Pretty simple job. After, it took the car 3-5 seconds of cranking until it started. I hooked up to VAGCOM to see what my IQ was (it was 5.8 µg per stroke) and hammer mod adjusted it down to about 4.8-5. I did not loosen the injection pump head screws. I drove the car home fine, engine ran well. Turned the car off and now it just will not start. What did I do? Does this sound more like a timing issue. I know the IQ needs to be down to around 3 µg per stroke, but how can i adjust it without the car on? Where do i go from here?
