As I contemplate building, I keep remembering that the higher HP builds like the ARL got a bunch of upgraded goodies. Rods, crank, pistons( along with slightly lower compression), a GT1749VB and that one made 150 hp. Definitely qualifies as a daily driver if the oil can keep the cam intact. On a reasonable statistical analysis, more power means stuff will break sooner. I doubt it is a straight line; more like a hockey stick...with the bend upward starting to get steep right about ARL numbers. A bit of care in driving/usage is a big deal; the general DV testing assumes a rather nasty customer driving profile...on that you may rely.
