None of those codes are recent. They all happened 40 to almost 2000 kilometers ago. If I were you, I'd clear them all and then rescan to see which come back. The ones with a fault frequency of greater than 1 would be the ones to look out for...

Very interesting.

I did clear them in the Auto-Scan and they came right back. What would cause the Airbag Fault! light to come on?

Do i need to clear under each module to clear for good? What would cause all of these other faults to intermentally happen?

hehe.. someone abusing the electric door locks. That's what happens when you hold the lock/unlock button down too long, or lock/unlock over and over for a long time... Looks like it happened more than once

ahh, so the coding for the windows to roll down and up w/ the remote is what is doing it.

sometimes the windows do not move, so i do it several times while walking to the car to get them to go up.

Did you ever leave your windows open (maybe a couple of times) in a rainstorm??

Codes look like something you might see from high moisture...

I had all those faults. Stealer replaced the 'comfort module', In addition, my alarm horn, the one that beeps when doors lock or panic button is pushed, was also not working. Replacing the comfort module fixed all the faults. Then two days later the air bag light came back on - they hard wired some connector under the passenger seat. That fixed it. My guess is you need a comfort module and the hardwiring of the connector under the seat.

never left the windows open, very good about not doing that. (other than IN the garage)

Took the car to the dealer yesterday and they cannot figure out what the problem is. They cannot access the CAN gateway, so they cant even look to see what the possible problem is. I have rewired some things for the front and rear fogs, and they seem to think that something I did caused the problem. indy_tdi - i will suggest the fix to them.

They were nice enough to give me a B6, too bad it is a gasser. And it is only getting 18mpg around town :(

Got the car back yesterday at noon. The dealer said the problem was with the wire that was attached to the driver seat needed to be replaced.

The reason they could not get into the gateway was because of the radio/ipod set up. they pulled the fuse for the radio and everything was fine after that.

I have to figure out the coding/wiring for the ipod to not throw the code that i was getting.

Which radio/ipod setup do you have?

Thanks!

Does it show your ipod song info on the radio display? I am a little surprised it caused a problem with vag-com. I would have thought that problem had been solved a while back.....

Bill - it does not display info on the radio, but the way i have it mounted, i dont really need it. It is right next to the radio. (i know this is not the right model, but it sits in the same place as my current car)

with the Vag-Com it does give me a malfunciton, but normally does not interupt anything else. VW said that the ipod somehow interupted their scan tool.
