Air Filter for 2003 Jetta TDI 1.9L engine

Looking for the best air filter for my baby. Have a choice of Mann, Hengst, Baldwin, and Mahle. Any Pros or Cons ? Thanks !! Dennis

You can't go wrong by buying one from the trusted vendors on this site. Mann, Hengst, Mahle all brand names.

It is literally printed right on the air cleaner lid. Mann+Hummel, the folks who made the whole air cleaner. If your car has no snow screen, you use the cold weather filter (that's what the "/1" at the end of the Mann part number means).

Hengst or Mahle are fine, too, but I try and stick with who made the filter assembly for replacement elements.

I'd go with any of them but Baldwin. Just because that's an unknown to me. I usually run Mann or Hengst, but I'm not terribly picky about it.

Amazon has the Mann C37153/1 version, that's the only one that I use. The cold weather type makes the filter much less likely to have problems if it gets really wet also.
