I got the cover off no problem, but the plastic shield behind the belt, between the belt and the block, blocks the view of the cam seal.

The same problem I had, you can't see anything.
I had to use an inspection camera to see behind the cam pulley, but once I saw the oil in front of the seal I knew I would have to remove the belt to fix the leak.
