I thought I recognized your name from Audizine...ended up getting rid of my A4 for the Passat too. Miss the refinement of the Audi vs the slow nav and rattles of the Passat. Still happy with the change so far, but do worry that VW is going to get bit down the road for cheapening things up. Good luck!

Too bad to hear it. Our 12 has been fantastic for 33k, plan on it lasting another 200+k.

Search on his username in a few months...you'll find him on another forum *****ing about lemon lawing/trading yet another vehicle over undercoating, or some other nonsensical issue...

surprised he wasn't happy with the heated seats. Mine will burn me on the "3" setting, and I have to turn it off after a few minutes on the "1" setting!

That's where I have problem it's his opinion and you should not shut up anyone, it's against our constitutional rights. So you don’t like someone just press a button “Ignore” and all this waste of breath will be over.
I don’t agree with for some of what he said, but some of it the true. And I see where he is coming, he owned luxury cars, decided go with Passat SEL and was expect to get as much as luxury segment , but it’s not going happen, Passat is well made it car for $20,000-$25,000 car, but if you paid $35,000, then it’s going to be close to luxury car. I paid 29,000 for SEL (used with 3800 miles) and me happy for this price, but I could of get BMW 3-series CPO 2010-2011 for 30,000 with 25,000 miles. Would it better deal, yes and no? I was looking for diesel, BMW 335 diesel at that mileage is about $35,000 and I didn’t have such money. I loved the space of the Passat, but plastic quality could be better for $35,000. Just as example the Volvo S60, its $30,000 to $42,000 car but it made much, much better. Only downside they don’t sell diesel version here in US. I would go with Volvo if it was available.
So ALL opinions are welcome, I don’t want see here discrimination the base of brand manufacture. It’s diesel forum.

Don't forget...the OP is the same guy that said, "You're all a bunch of fascists." to those that disagreed with him previously, prior to his own thread being locked.

My opinion is this is the beginning of yet another useless, argumentative thread. I will take your advice, phlfly, and ignore it.
