Well, USA and EU uses different carrier frequencies for their remotes. I think if you keep it in the same generation of CCM then the rest of the control modules and the remotes should work. And make sure they are from the same market (EU).

1C0:

04352-4:
Bit 3: RoW cars are set to 0 but NAR cars are set to 1 and I am unsure what change happens between these.

04355-7:
Bit 4: RoW cars are set to 1 but NAR cars are set to 0. I read somewhere deep in this thread that it is something to do with Enables/Disables code execution in EEPRom patch. I question this as why would US cars be different than RoW cars?

04358-60:
Bit 6: Only NAR cars have this bit set to 1. Normally, the entire memory address is 255=RoW LHD, 16=RoW RHD, and 64=NAR so I am not sure what this channel is for. I have a suspicion that it may have to do with the frequency the KeyFob runs on but no idea.

04361-3:
Bit 2: Just confirming this operation. I have heard either that is handles if the hatch can be unlocked/opened using the trunk (boot) button on the 3 button remote OR that if you use the key lock, it will also perform comfort windows up/down (just like the drivers door).

Bit 4: Someone mentioned that this set to 1 will wipe the rear hatch wiper when unlocked. Never tried it but any idea on this?

Bit 6: Set to 1 seems to have something to do with Passat B5.5 wagons but I also noticed that Golf/Jetta Wagons have this enabled as well. 0 is for almost everything else. Do B5.5 wagons and Mk4 Wagons not have a key lock on the hatch? My friend who had a mk4 TDI NAR Wagon for years said he does not remember having a key lock.
I have germany model b5.5 passat wagon and they do have key lock on the hatch. And interesting is that it is actually 3 position switch.
1. Basic position The tailgate can be opened by means of the lock handle
2. Service position In this position, the tailgate cannot be opened by the lock handle.
3. Mechanical emergency opening

Basic position activates lock handle (switch) if car is unlocked. Micro switch on key lock will prevent that if key lock is in service position.

Shouldn't matter if you have a basic alarm (meep horn), DWA alarm (siren), or no alarm. You do, of course, need working remote keys.

Windows roll up with VDS-PRO (cardiagnostics.be)

Can also be found in the VDS-PRO resource thread, stickied to the top of this very forum:

Before you keep changing these numbers, do you remember the original numbers for the channels you modified, before you used the software to change them? Let me know these and I can try to assist. Post them up here.

Hey! Please help me figure out the problem.

There is a Golf 4 Variant version of 2001.

I decided to get myself a remote control key. I bought a 1C0959799B unit with a radio channel, I ordered a 3-button key from China, but the key does not work correctly when binding. Either only the trunk opens or the central locking. So far, I have only left the central locking system. The middle button does not work. Apparently, the block encoding is incorrect. There is no interior monitoring, no bugle, no siren. T15 was not connected yet. Coded the block (there is a COM cord and EasyCCM and VDS Pro) according to this encoding: https://forums.tdiclub.com/index.ph...nfigurations-with-vds-pro.160960/post-5226970 but the middle button still doesn't work. Now the block sees only button clicks open. and closed. (1000 and 0100) when I press the middle button to open the trunk, nothing happens (0010 is not displayed). Please help me code the unit correctly so that the radio control works as if it were from the factory (a single press of the trunk button should unlock the trunk lid and hold the button down to open the lid) Thank you in advance who will respond

Has anyone figured out a "unlock rear hatch with doors" on a manual-windows car?

Before you keep changing these numbers, do you remember the original numbers for the channels you modified, before you used the software to change them? Let me know these and I can try to assist. Post them up here.

Hi every body.
really an interesting topic.
by the way, did someone manage to locate the bit in order to fold/unfold mirrors with FOB key?
just to come back to the story of installing TLE6208-3 and wire the mirror with the window power module.
the only way to manage folding /unfolding is through the interior switch.
i follow all the conversation and looks like there is a change to modify a bit to include the feature using a key.
"CCM is 1C0"'
really appreciate

As far as I know (I did research on this when the wife had her GLX wagon)... you can't. I do remember reading a thread (maybe here, maybe somewhere else) where the user wrote about installing an Audi power folding mirror 'relay' to gain that function.

Yes , to fold when you close car from fob key you need an Audi relay 361 installed or an module. You can find module to FB.

Anyone ever successfully re-coded a 4-door vehicle so it thinks it’s a 2-door? On my 1J0 CCM I’ve tried address 4280/86/92, bit 4 (“possible door count”), and it didn’t do anything.

My car is a mk3 GTI with the complete guts of a mk4 Jetta Wolfsburg, so I’m sure this is a fairly esoteric problem to solve. I don’t have the rear door controllers plugged in, so when I lock the car there’s a 1-second delay before the confirmation beep. Would love to code out that fault.

Does the delay go away if you plug the controllers in?
It’s been 17 years since I did the swap, but I’m pretty sure I tried that back in the day. Don’t have the door controllers anymore. Pretty sure I still would’ve had to connect the lock boxes too, and I just don’t want that much dead weight rattling around behind my trim panels.

Maybe try Bit 4 and Bit 0 on the three memory addresses? Could be a mix between them. I’ll take a look. If possible, can you get the full memory dump if 3 cars (all with 1J0 CCMs): 3 door golf, 5 door golf, and jetta. I have long not had access to any of these however, if I can grab a few CCMs from the junkyard, I will.

Hello everybody, I cannot get my windows to work via keyfob. The car is a 2000 model Passat B5 Variant with central locking and alarm system, but it only has electric windows on the front doors.

The CCM is a 1J0 959 799 S.
Colour-code of CCM is 3B, soft coding is 00257.
Door control modules are 1J1 959 801D and 1J1 959 802E.

I have been using KW1281test. Here are the old and new values I have been trying with no success:

04283 8 2
04289 8 2
08628 242 246
12724 250 254

Is it perhaps not possible to get this working when only the front windows are electric? Or are there perhaps any other values that I should try? I cannot find any answers despite searching the web for many hours. Thank you all for helping!

Not yet - fuel is too cheap! - 3.2 VR6 R32
You have to turn off the bit rather than just use "2" for example (which some others may have quoted for their car that worked)..eg the bit for the windows is xxxx1xxx = "deactivated" at 04283, 04289 and also 04295 by the way!.
To "activate" the feature you have to put 0 in that bit...so if your value is 8 = 00001000 then new value is 0 = 00000000

Hi Graeme86, Thanks for your swift reply! I just tried as per your post writing O to 04283, 04289 and also 04295. However, it does not work.

I looked over your info a bit more and it looks like you forgot the rear doors as well. Can you read out addresses 16820 and 20916? This should work as long as your rear doors are not manual crank windows.

Also, are you positive that addresses 04283, 04289, and 04295 where set to 8 before changing anything? If this is the case, a value of 0 or 2 should help, as long as all 3 addresses are set the same. Maybe try re-writing all of these addresses again? Just so you know, value of 0 allows the keyfob to work while the car is running and 2 disables they keyfob while car is running.

One last thing, can you read out the data from these addresses? I want to add to the known cars list I have been building:
04280, 04281, 04282, 04283, 04284, 04285, 08257, 08628, 12353, 12724, 16820, 20916

Hi Lijetta 18T, thanks for your interest. I have been thankfully using your spreadsheet trying to get this to work. But I just can not get this to work.

My rear windows are manual and my CCM does not seem to have addresses 16820 and 20916.
Yes I am positive, the original value of 04283, 04289 and 04295 was 08.

Here are the values you ask for:

04280 FF
04281 FF
04282 FF
04283 08
04284 FC
04285 FF
08257 FF
08628 F2
12353 0B
12724 FA
16820 -
20916 -

I can send you the Eeprom dumps if they are of use for you.

Thanks for that! Added to the spreadsheet. So, everything look to be set right. My question is do comfort windows work with the door key lock currently? It should but if this does not work, there might be something else at play elsewhere. Otherwise, I am not sure at this point. You have re-written all values again since the last message, right?

Yes they work fine with the door key lock. I re-wrote all the original values back after trying various combinations... Mine must be the first B5 were this just doesn't work.. can't find any other case like mine even after weeks of browsing, in the end everyone that tried got it working :(

Very strange! Anyone else that can chime in on these early 1J0 CCMs? We must be missing something here.

I did it on my early golf with 1j0 ccm, and the data was in different locations from my 1C0 passat one. I'll have to look back from when I did that.

Hello Mozambiquer, can you please let me know how you managed to do it? Thank you so much in advance!
