I used PayPal as well, and they responded via Whatsapp fairly promptly. I didn't get any bad vibes from them.

It's a relief to know that I wasn't not alone. To be fair, I didn't get bad vibes from "them". The vibes came from the fact that I was asked to use a non-reversible form of payment outside of their webstore. It's the first time in my life I see this kind of checkout process from presumably big and reputable company. Well, anyway, good to know that it wasn't just my imagination.
BTW, I'm looking at your MPG. So much higher than mine! Impressive! What do you think my car is missing?

The smaller European companies may prefer bank transfer so they're not slapped with 3% fees from a credit card. Can't really blame them.

I haven't updated my Fuelly mileage in a good while to be honest. The MK7 I currently average in the low-mid 40s just due to driving less highway. It'll still push 50mpg in it's current form though.

@adjat84th do you think my numbers are normal for the MK7 wagon 6-speed CRUA? What mods should I be looking next to get it to breathe right, while having a bit more power? I was thinking of getting new injectors. This will call for a fuel pump upgrade and likely clutch too. Thinking of what happened to Rawtek guys just knocked me out. I probably have to get the full exhaust from TWR, not just a downpipe. Any recommendations for a reputable makers, while they are still around?

Depends on your commute. If you lived in NoVa and had to suffer the typical traffic, I'd say 36mpg isn't half bad. But don't think you'd be looking into a downpipe if you did live up that way.
I think my better than average consumption is mostly driving style and the roads I have around me.
Lightweight wheels, CP3, properly inflated tires (35-38psi isn't even that high) definitely contribute as well.
Back when I had just stock turbo and stage 2 "eco tune", it was not difficult to get low 50s at all and best tank was 54 or 56mpg all lower speed highways. I had two 700 mile tanks back then which is tough on the MK7.

As for full exhaust, I would trust TRW for the full turbo-back setup. I asked them to make a 76mm (3") "cat-back" for me which they had not done before on the MK7 Golf. I was pleased with the quality of the material and the welds, and it only needed a slight tweak to one of the hangers in order to clear everything just right. 2.5" would be more than enough for the CRUA though. It wasn't shipped in a box which I thought was interesting, but it was fine. Shipping did take a couple weeks if I recall too.

I drive a lot on a highway. Mileage wise probably 90% on a highway. Local trips can still drag the mpg down, I understand. 41 mpg is my absolute maximum though.
Could that be from the fact that tuned vehicles dos not do regen cycles? It's been almost 18k miles and 9 months on the Stage 2 Malone tune.

Tons of variables can affect MPG, mostly the speed you travel and how often you find yourself pressing hard on the accelerator. All the local highways around me are 55-60mph. But even when I find myself setting the cruise at 74mph, I am typically in the mid 40s on the dash readout that has been adjusted to reflect withing 1mpg typically.
In my Fuelly logs, you can see in the notes for 4/18/16 where my first dpf-less tank was recorded and see that pretty much never saw mpg in the 40s from that point forward. That was when I was driving the car nearly 100% for work to NC and back every week.

Received my pipe a few days ago. Happy now.
For those who is interested how it looks, I took a few pictures, but cant figure out how to attach them here w/o uploading at some third party site.
The connections on the pipe look like I will need to file a few things here and there, but for the money saved it's not a big deal.

Curious, if Rawtek no longer ships to the US, are there freight forwarders that anyone is aware of? Although, that would make a rather costly item....more costly.

As someone who has a Rawtek pipe, they are so overpriced for a part that is going on a budget car IMO. Take the new shipping restrictions as a gift to your wallet.
