Abs u it compatabilty end letter e (doner) end letter c? Non com

I have a non communication error on ABS module my Donor unit is a 1J0 614 117 e
The one in the car is the car ends with a c I think. The donor is out of an auto 2000 my the victim is a 99.5 5speed . Will the electronic part swap over if the whole part cannot? Holes for lines are the same although the orientation and brackets were different

So have you checked for voltage at the harness? Do both connecting sides look nice and clean?
The 99.5 and '00 use the same ABS unit, so swapping would work in theory but I've never removed just the electronics part.

EDIT: do you know if each ABS module has the same features such as ABS/EDU/ASR, some have all 3, some have two and some just vanilla ABS.

No asr , cant google a good definition to edu but the autotrans has crank windows so no extras and the manual is base with elec windows. So no extras.
