Hello everyone, new here. My brother hooked me up with a beautiful TDI that he bought through these forums, a 2001 Jetta. Here are some pictures:

Yup, there are some pieces missing. And I'm not showing the bad side, where a rusty fender awaits replacement.

Here are the juicy details:
.260 injectors
BV39 turbo
PD150 intake manifold
Burpod tuned
race pipe
block off plate
Hella lift pump

It's definitely a sleeper...not a 0-60 king, but on the freeway passing is a dream; no downshifting required, ever.

And here are some things I can't wait to do in the future, some fun, some needful:
- Full window tint
- Fix A/C!
- CarPlay
- Add a glove box door
- Higher 5th gear
- Add black leather seats (I have them, but they are power; I think converting them to manual would be a smaller headache than figuring out the wiring...)
- Install new 16" wheels (which I have!)
- Replace door cards with black leather (you heard that right, black! Who doesn't like two tone?)

I'm looking forward to connecting with all of you here; you've helped me so far with a boost gauge problem - the cotton trick stopped the buzzing!

I'll be posting a thread about that seat issue soon.

True, that is the best part. I'm still trying to figure out how to add all that stuff to my signature, etc! I'm a newby...!

Excellent car, @jcharing ! Driving is a whole new experience with this vehicle; it feels like a Ferrari after driving a Mazda CX-5 for the past couple years...

I have power seats in my golf, you run wires under the carpet and tap into the cigarette/power outlet. You can find a prepainted ready to install fender on eBay for a little less than $300
