I put the OEM Turbo S pedals, Shift Boot & Knob I got on yesterday and had the Magnaflow Exhaust put on today. Not much sound difference, a little throatier, but looks nicer & I can hear the turbo a little better.

Now I’m going to wait for a warm weekend & I’ll install my coilovers :D

I’m thinking about buying a steel (DefenderTech), or aluminum (DieselGeek) skid plate soon.

Thanks, man. After a bunch of research I think a hybrid oil pan will be in my future instead.

Looking forward to seeing the "after" look. Don't forget to leave a little more gap than you eventually want, as the coils will settle.

Sorry for not keeping everyone updated. I've had them on for a little over 3 weeks now.

Here are a few "after" shots

Winter wheel/tire set:

I just swapped over to my "nice weather set" ;) yesterday:

I didn't want to hang any lower than it is so instead of getting a aluminum or steel skid plate I plan on getting a hybrid oil pan for my TDI after doing some research and through the advice of some others. I found this one for my TDI: http://www.leftlanecars.com/parts-st...bev-hybrid-pan
I emailed them asking about clearance and recently got an email back from them verifying that it does not hang any lower than the stock aluminum oil pan.

I'd rather scrape a skid plate than an oil pan.

Car looks good - though I kind of like it with black wheels better.

I hear you. I may still change my mind, but I've dropped so many things while working in the engine bay this year, clips for my fuel filter, a socket, open end wrench, clip for my coolant sensor, o-ring for my coolant sensor. It was nice to simply insert *curse word* and then crawl under and pick it up off the garage floor, LOL

Thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it. I like these for the change, definitely a different look. My wife almost blew it for me whan she said, "I like these better. It makes it look cuter, the black ones made it look all manly".

Guess what? I'm now secretly looking at 17" all black wheels, black wheels with contrasting lips, etc. I can always justify it by telling her it was her fault afterall, LOL

Sometimes I think black wheels are getting overused, but if you have the right car & right wheel, it can be pulled off, IMO.

As strange as it may seem , these lower profile tires on my spring/summer set really ride a lot better than the taller winter snow tires. I wasn't sure at first as I drove into work, but thought the ride was better. It was confirmed on my ride home tonight that it was indeed a better ride.

I took my usual on-ramp & off-ramps with a little more "enthusiasm" on the way home tonight and I must say I'm very happy with how these coilovers handle, really tight and flat through the curves... well, at least as tight and flat through the curves as a New Beetle dropped on coilovers can go ;)
