99.5 Golf
ok my main question after hours of searching, does anyone have a part number for a shifter bushing kit for a 99.5 golf?

also, I bought a new to me 99.5 it seems like it might have a water issue. I have searched a little, where is the most common place on the fire wall/cowell for water to leak in? its on the drivers side. The cowell was packed full of tree debris and would not drain, would that cause water to get inside? Thank you so much.

Yes. The packed debris would definitely do that. Water drains out IIRC through where the wiper arms sink through the
rain tray. There's a few places under it that have 'seals' that can leak when drainage is blocked up.

I don't know about yours but my 03 JSW had a flap in the front 2 door jams that was from the sun roof drain.
Mine got stuck shut shut.
I found if I pinched them every so often they were OK.

And the other pair of sunroof drains are behind the rear tires. You need to reach up there and pinch them nipples.
