97 TDI injector pump timing

I just replaced the injector pump on my 97. Runs but is louder than normal. Do you need the VAgcom to fine tune the timing?

Why did you start another thread? Short answer is yes, it would be best to. Use the Vag-Com Locator to find someone nearby to help you out.

It can be done with out it, but you will never get it fine tuned.
