I am preparing to sell this car in the very near future. Still getting a handle on pricing but thought I would put it on TDI Club first. It is a sweet car and has been good to me but a "young thang" TDI wagon has my attention and thus need to sell what I have. I am located in Tacoma WA. I will try to get a photo on the web soon if I can figure it out. Thanks Howler for mentioning the details (now incorporated).

This car has chips on the hood, scratches near both tail lights, a small dent on the car top, and one of the alloy wheels has a nick. The interior is basically good. There are several coffee stains on the passenger side foot carpet area.

B4 is the body style, specifically for the wagon its B4V

1Z is the engine code

I'd ask about $8-10K for it

Follow-up to Initial Post

Yes it is still available. My intent on the initial note was just to understand what the price range was for such a car. I hadn't anticipated there would be such an interest.

I am back from a vacation on 7/1 and the car should be ready (it is currently in the shop getting the driver side window regulator&motor replaced). I will post current photos and some VAGCOM results soon after I get the car back. I hope it doesn't take long to figure out how to post photos.

Car is Sold

The car has been sold.
Howler's initial estimates of how much it could go for was very helpful. This car went for about twice blue-book.

Now what am I going to do with my name (dieB4sel) now that I no longer own a B4?

Good news is at least I still own a newer TDI.

You'll have to change to dieB5sel... ;) Good luck witht the new PD! Those 2.0 Passats are fun to drive.

Rich knows how to treat a car- this one will be well cared for in its new home too...

So if you don't mind saying, what did you get for that nice looking wagon?
KBB is about $4K and he said about twice that. I think it was a good buy at that price.

Actually $9500. It is a little high and the bank doesn't like it, but I will be putting my wagon up for sale to offset. So let the bidding begin for my silk blue one... I'm getting local offers in the $8K range. IBW has ridden in mine (the wastegate is now fixed- no more overboost!) and may be able to attest to the shape its in.

Anyone interested, PM or email.

GREAT! that you sold/traded your B4 Variant for another/newer TDI :D AND that it went to a member here.

I am happy that your Variant was a good purchase/sell for both parties involved, that is what makes the TDI club so wonderfull :) !

Hmmmmm, I wonder how mine Variant will sell for?

Let's keep "them" B4's on the road  .

The ODO. of mine is @ 286K  !
