I just inquired with the owner of Frenchie's about a reservation for dinner on Friday night before the show. Once we confirm availability, I'll want to get a head count of people who intend to do dinner.

FYI, our room block expires on December 31st and any unsold rooms get released back to general booking on January 1st, 2014.

If you plan on attending this GTG and need a place to stay, please make your reservations ASAP. So far only 6 rooms have been reserved, so I think there are still quite a few people who still need to make reservations.

Let me know if you have any trouble and we can get it sorted out. Remember that you don't actually have to pay until you check out, so don't hold off because you have funding issues.

Tomorrow is the final day to make your hotel reservation... if you want to go, make your reservation. If your plans change, you can always cancel your reservation (in accordance with their policy) without penalty.

Aww man!! Another local event I can't make. I've got a wedding that day

On the other hand, I try not to hit the autoshow the opening day... its just madness compared to the last Saturday of the show.

You guys should make a trip downtown Ann Arbor that night (or Friday night).

The first day of the show was dead on our first few years doing this... now it's a mad house by about noon. We try to get out of there by 1 or 2pm and move on to other things (like go karting and pizza).

We'll be doing dinner in Ypsi on Friday night if you'd like to join us. I'll be getting a head count soon.

I just confirmed space at Frenchie's for about 25 people on Friday the 17th, 8pm - 10pm. I'll be creating an event survey in a few minutes (similar to last year) that will get head counts for all of the events. Keep your eyes open and please respond!

Have to cancel on the show. �� My boy has basketball practice and a game on Saturday. Really sucks because I really wanted go. Also, I cancelled my room reservation if anyone needs a room still there is one available. Maybe the next one.
