I swear I read on here somewhere that all 7 pages have to be in 1 Document. I've uploaded everything in the past with my scanner and would just drag my files individually for upload. I would normally just wing it and see what works but I don't want to prolong the process by screwing this step up.

My plan was to scan the pages and put them all into one DOC folder and upload the single folder... Thoughts?

Don't know what kind of scanner you have. My Canon flat bed scanner came with pdf software that allows you to scan page after page, and when all the pages are scanned, puts them all in a multiple page single pdf file. That is what I used, and was accepted no issues.

Open a Word document. Drag each file into the body of the Word document. Save the word document as a PDF. Call it VWOA or VW Claim(anything you want). Go to the Portal. Click on browse. Find the file. Upload it.

Ok, I did figure out how to just add all pages to a single PDF via my scanner. Thanks for all the help and input. I'm going to miss many people on this forum once I'm out of my VW.

7 pages? I just uploaded the two pages: signature page and notarized page...
Apparently you didn't read the offer letter too closely. From the top of the second page:
You may accept the buyback offer by signing this letter on the last page and signing and notarizing the enclosed release form. You must then return both the signed letter and the notarized release
"signed letter and the notarized release", not just the signature pages.

Yes, I made that mistake with both of mine as well uploading only the two pages. Surprisingly when I uploaded all seven pages after rejection the turn around time was within four days to get approval and scheduled.

If you are on a Mac, you can open the first scanned page (PDF) in "Preview" and then drag the other pages into the first and it will add them. You then have a multi page document.

yup, I returned the signed letter(page 4) and the signed notarized release(page 7).

So I DID follow the document the the T.

Its asinine for me to also send 5 other pages that DONT require any signature, initials or anything else. They could print them out and simply slide my two pages into it to complete the paperwork packet. But I guess they wont do that.

Either way if its rejected I am not turning in until January or February so not to concerned.

No, you didn't. You returned the signature pages. The letter consists of four pages. The "signed letter" consists of those four pages, with your signature in the appropriate place. The release similarly consists of three pages (including the signature page); the "signed notarized release" consists of those three pages with the appropriate signatures and seals. The signature page of the letter is not the signed letter, and the signature page of the release is not the signed release.

Why do they require that? Maybe they want to make sure you haven't made changes to the documents before signing.

Given that the first page of your offer letter contained the amount of your sell back payment, and you chose to return a signature page only as your acceptance, you apparently do not wish to bind VW to the amount of their offer. So if they substitute a new first page with half the original amount, you would have no problem. Because you returned a signature page that they could attach to anything.
