I have a Audi A4 1.9TDi avant quattro with a 115HK PD (ATJ) engine.
The sticker on the engine hood says I should use 505.01 oil. But the car's "user manual" says I can use both 505.01 and 506.01 oil.
I drive in Norway, where there is a lot of snow in the winter. Normally gets down to approx. -10 to -20°C during the winter. And might get as low as -30° or lower, but this is more rarely.
In the summer there might be hot, about +20 to 30°C.
What would you recommend to use ?
If I go for the 505.01 oil, it's 5W-30.
I I go for the 506.01 oil, it's 0W-40
Actually I used 506.01 during the last oil change. Should I continue with this oil, or would you recommend to go back to 505.01 (which will be 5W-30. I use Shell oil).
