505.01 oil and additives

Hey everyone I have a bew engine, I was curious what additives I could use for cam etc, zinc? Also best 505.01 oil I should be using ? I recently replaced the CAM

once you add an additive it’s no longer 505. Skip the expensive additives and use a stout HD oil instead.

Use CI-4+, CK-4 or A3/B4 in 5w40 or 15w40.

Amsoil AME, Rowe Hitech synth RS 0w40, Redline HP, Mobil Delvac Extreme, Driven DP40 as examples.

Did you do the break-in procedure with a high ZDDP oil like the Joe Gibbs stuff? From what I've read, that's an important part of ensuring happy cam life. And then following with good 505.01 oil, of course.
