I would love to try some 47. Where around baltimore can it be found?
Anybody been to this one lately? Or is there another preferred BP in C'ville? (I've heard/seen conflicting reports - one on Barracks Rd instead?)Charlottesville:
BP (434) 296-3790
2404 Fontaine Avenue, Charlottesville, VA 22901 (just off 29N and 64, past the Ray C Hunt/ UVA complex)
Note: 47 cetane
Still good as of Thursday. I have not been to the on on Barracks yet.Anybody been to this one lately? Or is there another preferred BP in C'ville? (I've heard/seen conflicting reports - one on Barracks Rd instead?)
I'll be near there later today and could fuel up if it was the good stuff, or hit the Country Store Shell on the way home as currently planned.
Maybe not... as of today this pump now says "minimum cetane rating 45" and doesn't say "Amoco Power Blend Premium Diesel" anymoreJust added a new one to the original post...
Fredericksburg:
Plank Road BP (540) 654-5222
2216 Plank Rd, Fredericksburg VA 22401 (on 3, a couple blocks east of I-95)
Note: 47 cetane, free-standing pump @ first island closest to building, pump says "Amoco Power Blend Premium Diesel"
Random post. Is that good fuel or something?$3.55 at Hornes in Port Royal
I don't think anyone really knows, although my TDI always seems to run well on any Shell fuel I put in it - whether that's from the station with the 45 cetane sticker on the pump or not.Am wondering, is all Shell diesel 45 cetane?
If this is the one near Popeye's/RIR, a drive-through a few months back yielded views of 40 cetane stickers only. Unfortunately.Gonna check this week, hopefully the HESS station here in Richmond at the corner of 360 & Laburnum may have this 45 cetane diesel as well.
