Had some fun this weekend, it's been a hot minute since I've had time to print anything.
Since my H8 battery upgrade, I've been lazy with a mounting solution for the fuse box on top. I pretty much have just had it taped on there. With the recent addition of the fuse/relay box, I really didn't like it just sitting there with tape.
Enter the most simple print.
All didn't go well at first. I set everything up and then went to the gym. I've had prints run 72 hours with no problems....this one though...think it's salvageable?
I forgot to put the glue stick down on the bed, which is pretty critical for the material that I was working with. The base print popped off and the nozzle basically just drug it around
Ok so I tried again. Different material though since I didn't really need to use the expensive stuff.
The feet ride in the slots, and there's a stop in the front so it can't slide out. As it goes though, something went a little off and my print lifted from the table ever so slightly (warped) so it changed the rest of the print dimensions:
I added some velcro strips to the bottom for adhesion to the battery:
Final result:
It works nicely. I've got V2 on the printer now, it'll be a bit easier to install and hopefully the print is a bit more uniform. I really had to jam the fuse box in there, so I might actually need to cut it off so V2 can be installed.
