umm, well, i do :p i have to drive it quite hard to get <42mpg.... have owned the car since new off the lot, 300k on it now and has never run better :) vnt17 + puts down some pretty good power... at least for stock injectors.

that's not to say you might still have some un-noticed issue that could be bringing mpg down but....
Like what? I've replaced the fuel pump when I bought it, rebuilt the tandem pump, cam does have some wear but not much, with stock map driving across country I was getting 35 mpgs doing 90-100 highway, this car doesn't skip a beat, doesn't overheat, doesn't consume enough oil to add any between changes, it's like the energizer bunny, btw only reason I drove it that fast cross country is cuz I was 12 hours away from my family working and couldn't afford a plane ticket and only had 3 days off, so 2 days to drive and one day with the family, im home now so it doesn't see higher than 70
