I have a couple of TDIs at the 340,000 mark. The amazing thing is one is an automatic and it still shifts great after a valve body rebuild from Coolair many years ago. My wife's TDI BEW purchased with 15,000, is around 210,000 with nothing touched but the timing belt, pump and an alternator pulley. I have watched co-workers other unnamed brand cars come and go over the years. They were brand new when they got them. They rotted out. They broke down. They had so many problems they gave up on them and on top of it all I run in the high 40's mpg. Nothing else out there can compete.
