New year, New GTGs. Hopefully this year we can get a TDIFest or even a decent sized GTG going somewhere in a location with some attractions as well. Since its just the start of the year, hopefully by late spring/summer we can organize something.

Sadly never been, But hoping to maybe get a GTG going in honour of TDIFest if it happens again.

We are having a fund-raising event on July 27th here in Sunbury PA. It will benefit three local dog rescues. I'll be busy with the event, so I won't be organizing any TDI activities. Maybe I could do some small prizes for furthest traveled or something if someone want to try to organize something around this.
We are having bingo in the morning, a Chinese auction and an evening concert with Ron Keel from the eighties band Keel. We will have on display a Knight Rider KITT replica, a General Lee and an A Team van. A friend of our holds a Bonneville speed record for a naked V twin motorcycle. He will have that motorcycle and his collection of Confederate motorcycles on display. We will have a nice big parking lot and there is a bar with food and about a dozen of the latest pinball machines.
So, beyond that Knoebels Amusement Park is close by with camping as well as other camping and hotels.

Cali/Nevada, where-evs, I'm ready. I've been substituting the annual Saab owner's convention for the TDIFest during what I hope is no more than a catch-ones-breath few years pause in our group's big to-to.
This year's SOC is in Portland OR and I'm planning (haven't committed) to repeating the 2010 PDX TDI'fest cross-country trip driving the Saab.

Out in the Niagara region, but I'm frequently out in the Georgetown area. I've never seen another wagon out there that isnt clapped out haha.

This one is in pretty great shape, was owned by an older couple when the ad-blue tank went for a crap.

VW bought the car and it sit for a couple of years. I’m looking for someone to replace the timing belt

Thats how I got mine. Luckily enough to snag a good looking wagon for a decent price. Just had to do some paint correction and got some rust approved by warranty. Good looking car for 373,xxxkm. Theres a shop out in Cambridge that I'm sure would do the timing belt, called Das Parts. Not sure if any shops out in Georgetown area.

Aw man, lived in Huntsville for a long time, but I am out in BC now, I would have loved an Ontario one. My brothers BEW wagon we bought in Thunder Bay, but it started live in Kingston.

I'm sure there is enough people locally down this way to get something going. Facebook and here would prob be the best areas to gather some people.
