I think that is close to MSRP but for a 6 year old car? If it were only red and we weren't still in the middle of a pandemic and I could convince the wife that we really needed another VW wagen, I'd be on the next flight out! Oh, and I had $35K sitting around becasue no bank is going to loan that on a 6 year old car.

I'm gonna guess this dealer's prices are a bit optimistic seeing as they're also asking 18k for a 2012 Golf with close to 40K miles. Either that or maybe I just caught the deal of a lifetime a few years back when I paid 11k for almost the exact same car, only one year older and minus the tech package.

Mifht be worth saving a couple of these for future insurance company battles. Not that I expect a dealer's asking price is going to carry much weight with an insurance company. But, couldn't hurt I guess.
