Try to keep this brief and relevant:
Bought my son a 2015 TDI Jetta. Got scammed, turned out to have odometer fraud (showing ~100K less than actual). Was able to move past that...
Axle bolts came loose, grenade the DSG housing. Replaced with used low milage DSG.
My son put about 10K on it, then managed to catch the Active Shutter wiring and tore it. I spliced it back together and all seemed fine.
Then the car went into limp mode and puked a bunch of codes (see below). My next step is to go back and look at my repair job and make sure it all looks good. I'm guessing it might be related to all the other codes but thought I would reach out here and see if some more experienced MKVI owners could lead me in the right direction.
I have visually inspected the rest of the wiring harness in the engine compartment and there doesn't appear to be any evidence of damage from rodents or abrasion.
Any help with be nice at this point, because I'm about ready to throw in the towel with this thing...
14745 - Active Radiator Shutter 1
P05A5 00 [00100111] - Short to GND
10065 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70)
P0104 00 [10100111] - Intermittent
9490 - Engine Oil Pressure Regulation
P06DB 00 [00100111] - Short to GND
22574 - Voltage Supply Relay for Reductant Metering System
P21C8 00 [00100111] - Short to GND
10385 - Coolant Circulation Valve (N214)
P1259 00 [10100111] - Short to Ground
5327 - Boost Pressure Control Valve/Solenoid (Bank 1)
P0047 00 [10100111] - Short to GND
4113 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40)
P0341 00 [00100111] - Implausible Signal
03803 - Steering Angle Sensor for Steering Aid
000 - - - MIL ON
I have additional scans that I've done with the connector for the Radiator Shutter connector disconnected. But thought I would start with this...
