Has anyone got any tips on doing this job? I have downloaded rawteks guide and it has been going ok except for getting the rubber hoses off they do not seem to want to move. I ended up cutting two of them up but now i have to spend more cash and wait for parts since i live remote there is nowhere near to get anything here. Does anyone know how to remove the rubber hoses easier and without damage? There is also a bolt on the left side of the EGR cooler that is suppose to be a real B if anyone knows what tools/technique to use here id appreciate the help. I have bought the Delete kit from MR tuning so not sure of what the differences in install will be from the Rawtek one. Also if there is already a thread or info about this online please point me to the right resources. Thank you for your help and time.

No I purchased a flowdirekt kit but I am using raw tech directions for removal. I was able to get the parts out with some struggles but now i have to figure out how to instal this kit since it doesn’t come with directions

Has anyone on here installed a FlowDirekt down pipe kit on a 2015 Jetta TDI? Are there any photos of this installation anywhere online?

Yeah it was. I had no trouble seeing it its just a little bit behind the egr cooler so I could get square on it but I was able to break it loose eventually.

I did a 2013 Jetta, but also used the Flowdirekt kit. Pretty sure it is the same kit for 2009-2015. I also used the Rawtek instructions which worked fine.

You will have to cut the midpipe down to size to get it to fit properly and make sure any slip-joint brackets are not close to a cross-member or you will hear a rattle. Also, there is only the one bung at top for the oxygen (Lambda) sensor and there is no "support bracket" to bolt back up. The only thing I didn't have to do is the "coolant bypass," which must be unique to the 2015 model year.

Thanks for the tip about the slip joints near the cross members. This kit comes with a longer coolant line that has a tee at the top. It also has two bolt holes I’m hoping it becomes clear were they get bolted to since I can’t find a picture anywhere. Also if anyone knows why it comes with an egr plug instead of a plate? and how to install the plug so it doesn’t fall out?

No this is an aluminum plug. Here is a pic of the parts I need to install. The circular aluminum piece is the plug.

It might go in the turbo. The rubber plug that people use is 1.25" to 1.375". Another option people use, i think, is a freeze plug or something like that.
