2015 GSW diesel fill up issues

So went to fill up and the nozzle will not go in the inlet, it's blocked by something black. Guessing something failed but anyone have this happen?? Still warrantied but Im on empty so probably will have to tow it. Hopefully someone has a trick to open it

never mind took the adapter from my Audi which lets you use the larger hi flo pumps and it's working so maybe it was a funky nozzle at that station that was defiantely odd tho

Search for misfueling guard. There are different sizes of nozzles for various fuels, including diesel. The guard is an attempt to prevent gasoline from being pumped into the diesel tank. If you have the owner's manual, it might be worth the read.
