My car will be deleted and tuned by the 15th. As soon as it's done I'll make a new thread
Nice, I hope you're a good welder. Don't cheap out and use 409 SS unless you don't mind building another one a few years down the road.I just need the tune and block off plates going to build the turbo back my self.
Nope, still need downpipe and a bunch of blockoff parts.wait i thought the deletes were all electronic now

I only use food grade 304ss all tig welded and back purged. good quality 409ss won't have any issues lasting the life of the car. Like buzzken said you probably got some cheap Chinese crap loaded with impurities.Nice, I hope you're a good welder. LOL, doing a little backpedaling are we?It takes longer to test on a track....

Could you post up the dyno of the Stage I tune?
My car has been at GDM for about a week and a half now. They are wrapping up on the tuning end. The full exhaust is complete.I did not personally dyno that tune and quite honestly, it will be .05% of tune sales. I see no reason to go with a stage 1 tune over a stage 2, stage 2 it still perfectly within the safe limits of the car and has no disadvantages.

Hey Buzzken, are you guys still having issues with the deletes? I don't know about you guys but we are just waiting to hear back from mark with the deleted tune.
I can't wait to get her back. Should be some day this week hopefully.
GDM (formerly known as dieseldubs) is a Malone dealer if I'm not mistaken. The stage 2 has been out for quite some time now.I think GDM has a complete Stage II ready and on the road!
The car that is their beta tester belongs to me. It runs a stage 2 with deletes but has a check engine light. They are still working with Malone to get the codes gone. It's been in the shop for 2 1/2 weeks I hope it doesn't make 3...I think GDM has a complete Stage II ready and on the road!

I must say, as a tuner, it's nice having a car actually in my possession for development purposes. When we officially release ours it will be fully vetted by me personally over many miles. The car that is their beta tester belongs to me. It runs a stage 2 with deletes but has a check engine light. Every time a new version is sent from Malone they test it and get more codes. First it was missing ad blue now it's an egr related code. I hope to get it back this week so I can go to the car meets again.
If I go Stage 2 with my 2015 GSW, why would I consider any deletes? Would I only need to consider the emissions deletes if I was running it hard often?I did not personally dyno that tune and quite honestly, it will be .05% of tune sales. I see no reason to go with a stage 1 tune over a stage 2, stage 2 it still perfectly within the safe limits of the car and has no disadvantages.
The deletes are 100% optional. It just helps the engine breathe easier. It also helps with longevity. Eventually the dpf will fail and need replacing. It's quite a hefty price tag for a replacement as well. Dpf delete also will give a slight gain in fuel economy due to no more regeneration cycles. If I go Stage 2 with my 2015 GSW, why would I consider any deletes? I've noticed my MK7 TDI doesn't regen nearly as much as my MK6 did running the same driving patters.
I saw he car up there last week. I know there was a lot a fabricating. I think the said the had almost 4 days into it. It will be worth the wait! The car that is their beta tester belongs to me.
