Well, we can cross VCDS off the list right away...
Really? That's not what Andrew Rodriguez is saying on fixmyvw.com:
Updated on 6/13/2015
I don't have any definitive news yet, but I'll share what I know since I'm getting a lot of questions about it lately.
We're going to be able to test bench flashing 2015 ECUs this week, if that goes well, we'll be able to offer 2015 tunes to anyone who has a VCDS tool.

Let me clarify that: Currently the customer will need vcds to verify if we can or cannot obd flash it with a handheld tool.
Thanks for the clarification! I have VCDS and a Flashzilla (ver 2) that I was about to sell thinking it was useless for MK7 TDIs. If the VCDS scan proves that my car is doable, should I keep the Flashzilla? Thanks!

Once the numbers for the tune are official(sometime this week I think). I hope the tune will be out shortly after, not months away.

Those are about as official as they're going to get. More info on tune availability in the next few days.

Am I reading this chart correctly or are eyes playing tricks on me? The ECU tune will give a 100HP boost from 150 to 250 and +150lb of torque??
Nope, Red is before tune HP and Torque, blue is after tune HP and torque, so about +25 hp and +50 torque

Is the drive-by-wire lag reduced any? That's my main complain really...I know due to how turbos work we're never gonna have any real POWER below about 1800rpm or so but we could at least maybe get there a little quicker.

tuning for 2015 cars is via q-loader.

Yes, that's right.

I don't think you're feeling dbw lag, but turbo lag due to low fueling to meet emissions. I noticed it in my '12, much different than the response on tip-in when driving older TDIs. And they're also drive-by-wire.

I'm betting a tune will help this because it will deliver more fuel at low revs.

Reducing lag on tip in is one of the biggest benefits of a tune, whether on a turbo or NA vehicle. Improves driveability tremendously!

We will never offer a DPF delete tune for any common rail cars. All of our tunes will require the dpf and all other emissions equipment be installed (even the big turbo tunes etc)

Now, I can't stop you from installing one of those pipes, but there will be a permanent check engine light with a flashing glow plug light, and you will have constant regens. (edit: and on the 2015 you will have about half the power of stock!!!)

We will never offer a tune that eliminates the check engine light for DPF delete.

So if I'm seeing correctly:

Malone Tuning - Stage 1 Tune for 2015 Golf and Jetta CR TDI
Providing approximately +20HP and +55 Ft. LBs of torque

Malone Tuning - Stage 2 Tune for 2015 Golf and Jetta CR TDI
Providing approximately +29HP and +72 Ft. LBs of torque

I will pass then and wait for somebody else to offer it.
