Hello folks.
Is there a detailed instructions how to program a new key to my tdi using VCDS?
I followed all the videos how to but I ended up deleting existing key. I am not able to program the key nothing happens. I now need to manually lock the car.

You're doing the key fob programming, correct, not immobilizer programming?

Correct. I am just adding another key.

I am now trying to enter the security part of Module 9central elect, the security code, but it is not accepting code 31347
Does anybody know what code to use?

There are two parts to a "key", and the terminology can be a bit confusing....just to clarify: are you trying to add a new key side that you want to use to start the car OR a new fob side to lock/unlock the doors?

Separate programming steps, and I am pretty sure only a dealer can do the add-the-key-that-can-start-car part on a 2015.

Like was mention above there is 2 parts of the programing , Remote part and Immobilizer. You can do only remote part with VCDS and ONLY if is car not keyless. If is keyless you have to program immobilizer part and automatically remote gets programed.

Now question is , is your car Keyless with push button start or you have to put key in ignition and start the car?

Yep, it is complicated with a 2015. All keys need to be present, all of them taken out and back added to the car.

Maybe some people that can do MIB2 programming can do this, but it needs other tools and software, not VCDS.

My 2015 has a push start button. I am trying to program a whole new remote, the old old is too damaged to unlock the car.
I need the new one to start and unlock the car.
I got this remote from another 2015 Beetle.

Sadly you have to go to the dealer, the KESSY is a pain in the ass. Dealer only

It's a sophisticated anti-theft system... specifically designed to not be bypassed by anyone with a laptop and a Youtube video.

You may also find the tools needed to do it yourself greatly exceed the key price from the dealer.

I'm working on getting set up to do later be keys, it's way more expensive than just getting a key programmed by the dealer...

Not the last time I looked. But again, the white hat hackers doing MIB2 retrofits could know how. They don't visit here, but other sites

I just took a customer's later keyless start Jetta in for a key reprogram. It was $165 out the door. They just repaired both fobs to the car. That's pretty cheap, really.

No remote, just remotes... (Pun intended)
I can program the unlocking and locking, but the later immobilizer programming and kessy programming take more.
