Details.
141k miles.
Transmission flush, Both diffs and transfer case fluids changed @120K
Optilube xl used on every fill up.
Meticulously maintained since I've owned it.

Flawless interior.
A couple barely noticeable dings.
Brown with tan interior.
Schaeffer's 5w40 based on Frank06 recommendations.
Carfax shows a rear end collision from 4 years ago. I cant tell as there are no residual effects. I was told it was repaired at a vw dealer.
Slid on black ice into a snow bank a month ago. Minor right side damage. All repaired at Autohaus Lancaster.
PA inspection.

I'm getting 30-32mpg highway. It's a much better much more refined vehicle than the T2. Transmission is so much smoother. Obviously much more efficient than the T1/T2s.

Open to offers, but kbb says $14k-$18k.

I think for its condition and the lack of available Touaregs in the market, $14k is fair.

I've had some interest, but really dont want to play the nickel and dime game. I'd probably take $15,500. Pretty sure it's cheaper than any other T3 on clubtouareg as well. I'd consider other offers, but am pretty firm.

Funny how colours are so subjective. I said to my wife the other day how much I liked the VW and Audi new brown. She did a face palm. lol.

Good luck on the sale. Looks like a clean unit.

Thanks! Its funny. I've never purchased a vehicle based on color. Condition is far more important. But the brown has really grown on me.

How is the 2010 better than the 2015? I just bought a 2012 in mint condition fresh from VW with the "fix", and love it. VW had it stored for a full 2 years, so it is kind of like buying a 2014. It has 80K miles, and I paid $15,800

Seeing the tow hitch on it makes me more interested. Have you towed anything with it? Does it have a tow package with lights and adaptive leveling, etc? TIA.

Hmm, wife has always wanted TDI Touareg, but kinda gave up after Dieselgate. Might be interested....

Yes. Thing tows amazingly. I towed a 6500# camper from PA to GA with my previous 2010. 65mph the entire way, not a single issue. This tows better with the 8 speed. No leveling. The T3s in the US didnt get an air suspension option.

Ehhh... let's bump it. 126k now.

Decided to stay with the T3 after driving a bunch of air suspended T2's. They felt like dinosaurs.

Not desperate anymore, but would still let her go for the right offer.

Its funny, I see all these posts about Touaregs being expensive to own and maintain. I've spent less on all 3 of my touaregs combined than my alh's/bew combined. Between wheel bearings...egrs...skid plates...tunes...etc, the little cars were fare worse. My sportwagen was the most expensive. Tune, exhaust, pureflow, containflow, nicktane, etc. This touareg has been the cheapest vehicle I've owned - although, my commute is only 20 mins now, vs 40 when I had the little diesels.

Sorry I didn't get back to you...I have a 335d and a 16 Touareg, so not particularly eligible for a trade! Good luck with the sale, these are amazingly well built vehicles. There's not a single thing that feels cheap on a Touareg.
