2014 Passat Tdi Se CKRA oil pump location

Hello, I recently bought a 2014 Passat tdi with 100k miles from auction, it’s got all sorts of problems as it was not properly maintained, but currently I need to change the oil pump and pressure sensor/switch because I’m getting the low oil pressure turn engine off light on the dash, I was able to get the sensor out but I’ve been looking all over and can’t seem to find the location of the oil pump and how to replace it anywhere, any info would be appreciated!

Check the oil pump hex key that goes through the center of the oil pump and into the balance shaft. They like to round off and stop driving the oil pump.

Thank you guys for the help, I got a new oil pressure sensor on the way gonna try that first and see if it fixes my issue if not I’ll check the pump, I’m already doing a timing belt and water pump on it rn as well.

Can also be bad main or rod bearings. We hope not, though they're not terrible to refresh.

Before tearing the engine apart, you could hook a mechanical oil pressure gauge to the sensor port or add a tee and check the actual pressure.
